It’s almost impossible to conceive of us having reached November already. This year has proven to be a huge test of strength and endurance for everyone. With Christmas holidays looming and the possibility of further, more stringent lockdown, it may be wise to make sure your cellars are stocked to ensure a stress-free December break. Something we all thoroughly deserve.

Bubbles abound (both local and French), and what festive season is complete without a few bottles of bubbly? Boschendal, Graham Beck and Villiera top my favourites if we’re talking MCC. If we’re flashing French then Bollinger at R799 for their Special Cuvée is a super spoil.
