Heerlik Brandy 750ml

The brandy consists of forty percent five year old potstill brandy and sixty percent unaged brandy that was distilled in classic German eau de vie style. No sugar or colouring added and the brandy is blended down to drinking strength with our own filtered mountain water, as we say, Just Brandy! Platters Wine Guide describe the brandy as follows: “Remarkable Spirit in many ways. Rare thing – no colourant – so the straw hue is from the (bought in) 40% potstill component matured 5 years in oak. As rare, no added sweetness, the bone-dry palate giving delicate refinement uncommon for a blended brandy at 43% alc, though the finish is a touch hot. Deserves sipping unmixed(but doesn’t insist!). Sense of great purity to the lovely flavours. Beautifully done.” HEERLIK Brandy was awarded four and a half stars in the 2024 edition of Platter’s Wine Guide as well as a seal of good value and a Bronze medal with 86 points at the 2024 Trophy Spirits Show.
