THE FAMILY label has the names of our three children on, as these were the names I always used on the Kevin Arnold Shiraz label. I decided to source wines last year for this brand as I could only start my business once I had left Waterford ( which was during the harvest ). The Chenin comes from old bush vine Carinus vineyards on top of the Polkadraai Hills in Stellenbosch, overlooking False Bay and Table Bay.The wine was made at Stellenbosch Hills by PG Slabbert and he allowed me to select different vineyard block wines and blend them before I bottled them there on site.
