The History Of Shackleton Whiskey

Scottish explorer, Sir Ernest Shackleton, took 25 cases of Mackinlay’s Rare Old Highland Malt Whisky on his Antarctic Expedition in 1907. Almost 100 years later, three cases of this whisky were found, perfectly preserved and frozen in the ice beneath Shackleton’s base camp. Here it was created into Shackleton Whisky, by Master Blender Richard Paterson, as a modern blend with Antarctic foundations.
