South African Wines
Blessed with some of the red wines in the world, South Africa's selection of red wines make's this country and No1 selling hotspot for red wines. I plan to provide a great list of wines that we recommend along with any red wine specials from South Africa. At some point we'll have a list of John Platter recommended red wines and recommendations of which red wines go with which South African dishes.
So with all this talk and no action I give you a list of South African red wine varieties that will knock the socks off any red wine drinker.

The South African wine industry has come a long way and has evolved enormously and grown in recognition in the international wine market. Both locally and internationally the White wines from South Africa have become well-loved, and a common denominator is that buyers seem to be looking for excellent quality wines that offer value for money.
