History of Leopard Frog Vineyards
The Leopard Frog Vineyards was founded in 2005 in the culturally inspiring Stellenbosch region, established by Canadian wine extraordinaire David Bate. Aside from producing unique hand crafted wines from grapes that have historically been a source of rich flavours, David has also formed the United Nations of Wine. It is an international wine cellar dedicated to help the saving the earth through innovative and eco friendly wine packaging.
Leopard Frog Vineyards emblem is the frog which symbolizes the harmony of earth and water working together. Furthermore this harmony is displayed perfectly in the blends of premium varietals that are grown in the wine heartland of South Africa.\
Leopard Frog vintages
Leopard Frog Vineyard produces two different classes of wine. The Limited Release Wines and the Private Release Wines. Only 8 barrels of the Limited Release Wines are made by Leopard Frog and are available to the public. The Private Release Wines are for a select client base and only 5 barrels of a wine are ever produced.
