The exquisite Elgin Valley is a lofty inland plateau which is totally surrounded by majestic mountain ranges and is in close proximity to Cape Town. Elgin Vintner is swiftly gaining a standing for the creation of finest class wines.

A perfect marriage and partnership of six professionals and dedicated grape growers, who, together with their expertise and belief in the terroir of Elgin and the multiplicity of the vineyards, have combined their funds to nurture, promote and market this range of outstanding wines.
Every member of this consortium brings a unique element to the equation, but it is primarily due to the leadership of Paul Wallace, viticulturalist par excellence with over thirty years expertise under his cap, that the results have been so phenomenal.

Although light meals are served by arrangement on the farm, it would be a nice touch to pack a picnic and enjoy the loveliness of the surroundings.
Three wines from the Elgin Vintners stable have received awards and accolades in the SA Terroir Awards competition; primarily Elgin Vintners Chardonnay 2010: Top Chardonnay, Elgin Ward , Elgin Vintners Viognier 2010: Top Viognier, Elgin Ward and last but not least, Elgin Vintners Merlot 2007: Top Merlot, Elgin Ward.
