Du Toitskloof Wine Farm
Du Toitskloof Wine Farm is the brainchild of six wine farmers who put their heads together, forming a co-operative winery in 1962, and has no fewer than 22 members today with many of them being second-generation descendants of the founding members, and all live in a tight community within easy proximity of Du Toitskloof.
The Du Toitskloof cellar is situated close to Rawsonville in the Breede River Valley, with sweeping views of the Du Toitskloof Mountain Range forming a perfect backdrop to an idyllic setting.
Du Toitskloof produced wine in bulk in the early years for the wholesalers of SA but since early 1990, the focus is on the bottled wine industry, gaining popularity and an excellent reputation.
Currently, a broad range of red and white table wines has been added to the selection of this fine cellar, and recently a major step was taken in introducing excellent high-value reserve wines.
