Paul Cluver Wine Estate is a Family-run wine estate that has been in the Cluver family since 1896, and is situated in the cool Elgin Valley which is about seventy kilometers from Cape Town.
The wine business is part and parcel of the “De Rust Estate”. Part of this estate is made up of apple and pear orchards and a Hereford stud farm.
Cape Chamonix is situated on the mountain slopes on the Eastern part of Franschoek, and produces a wide selection of excellent wines which depicts what the estate is all about. De Wetshoff Finesse is a slightly woody Chardonnay with aromas of citrus fruit and fresh apples with a conclusion of lemon and nuts with mineral flavours. The ageing potential is a two to three year period and is a 100 percent Chardonnay.
Gary and Kathy Jordan are the owners of the estate where Jordan Wines are produced. The indigenous bushes around the Jordan cellar is home to numerous species of chameleons and this soon became a great attraction to visitors to this beautiful wine estate.
