The Pink Pigeon is one of the rarest birds in the world
and flies free in the skies of Mauritius, the tropical
paradise of the Indian Ocean.
Some of the worlds finest sugar cane is also grown
here on the Medine Estate.
It is from this natural source that we make our
exquisite and rare rum.
Uniquely, we add hand-picked vanilla from orchids
that grow in the rainforest canopy of nearby Madagascar.
This combined with the exotic, tropical flavours of spice
and nutmeg make our rum as exquisite and rare as
the Pink Pigeon itself.
Pink Pigeon spiced rum is named after the rare and endangered bird (of the same name) found on the island of Mauritius. As part of the conservation effort, Pink Pigeon is a contributor to the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation. The stunning pink species symbolises peace, freedom and harmony, qualities closely aligned to those of Pink Pigeon. The bottle and packaging reflects the rums aspirational positioning and each bottle is hand finished with a ribbon, ring and wax.
